Network of Nordic Project Management Associations

NORDNET is a forum for co-operation between the national project management associations of the Nordic countries.

NORDNET was founded in the spring of 1981 by the national project management associations of Denmark, Finland, Norway, and Sweden. In 1984 the Project Management Association of Iceland was founded and joined the network of Nordic sister organisation..

The aim of the NORDNET co-operation is to strengthen the capability of the participating membership associations to develop a dynamic and competent discipline for projects, programme and portfolio management.

NORDNET is an active platform for the exchange of knowledge, experiences and impulses on the advancement of the project management discipline, and the development of the participating associations' membership services. One of NORDNET's main activities is the annual project management symposium held, in turn, in each of the Nordic countries.

Project management associations from other countries may be invited to co-operate with NORDNET.

The NORDNET co-operation is based on the idea of common cultural background and shared values of the people living in the Nordic region today.
